Welcome to DinkTap — our story, and where we're headed

Hey there — we’re DinkTap, and we’re building the all-in-one pickleball platform for players and the clubs they play at. If you found this blog, you’re early. So first: welcome, and thanks for being here.

Here’s the short version of who we are, why we exist, and where we’re headed.

Pickleball grew up fast. The stuff around it didn’t.

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America, and the game itself is nearly perfect — easy to start, impossible to put down. But everything around the game is still held together with duct tape: ten group chats to find a fourth, a spreadsheet for the league, a bracket printed and taped to the wall, and a sign-up form that crashes the morning of the tournament.

Players waste time hunting for an evenly matched game. Organizers spend their nights on admin instead of growing the community they love. We thought the sport deserved better — so we set out to build it.

Players and clubs are two halves of the same game

Here’s the belief at the center of everything we do: players and clubs aren’t two separate audiences — they’re two halves of one community. A well-run club makes its players better. Engaged players make a club thrive. Yet almost every tool out there picks a side.

DinkTap doesn’t. We’re building one connected platform for both — which is exactly what we mean by “for players and the clubs they play at.”

What we’re building

For players — find better, more competitive games near you, log every match, and watch your game grow with Dynamic Mesh Rating™ (DMR), a living rating that updates after every match. Climb local leaderboards, track your progress, and discover every event in your area.

For clubs and organizers — run courts and reservations, leagues, tournaments, brackets and standings, member and waiver management, and player communication from one management portal — built to replace the patchwork, not add to it.

What we believe
